These terms are the agreement between you and HWSolved for use of our browser extension and website. By purchasing a licence key, installing the extension, or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. 1. WHAT HWSolved IS HWSolved is an AI-powered study assistant. It reads a question you are viewing in your own browser, sends it to an AI model, and returns a response with supporting reasoning to help you understand the material. It is a study aid. 2. INDEPENDENCE AND NO AFFILIATION HWSolved is an independent software product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any educational publisher, learning platform, or institution. Platform names are used only to describe where the service works. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. 3. ORIGINAL AI RESPONSES HWSolved generates original AI responses. It does not reproduce, store, distribute, or create derivative works from any third party's copyrighted content. 4. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES You are responsible for your own academic conduct. That includes following your institution's academic integrity policy and the terms of any platform you use. You should decide whether HWSolved is appropriate for a given course before you use it. Please verify any response before relying on it, since AI answers are frequently but not always correct. Do not use HWSolved for any illegal purpose. 5. NO WARRANTY The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with any particular platform, and compatibility can change without notice. 6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY To the fullest extent permitted by law, HWSolved is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for any academic outcome resulting from how you choose to use the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. 7. REFUNDS If your licence key does not work, contact us within 12 hours of purchase and we will fix it or issue a full refund. Once a key has been activated and used, it is non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for detail. 8. TERMINATION We may suspend or terminate access at any time, including for any use that breaches these terms, without refund. 9. CHANGES We may update these terms. Material changes are reflected in the date above, and continued use means you accept them. 10. DISPUTES Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.
